Spaghetti..

Believe it or not..but i did it. Well, at least it suits my taste bud. lol..
here's what I had last weekend...

2 - 26 oz jars/cans of spaghetti sauce
1 - 16 oz jar of mexican salsa for nacho chips.
1 lb of ground beef or turkey
1 large chopped white onion chopped into 1/2" pieces
1 - green or yellow pepper chopped into 1/2" pieces
1 table spoon of crushed dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons sweet butter
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 - large cooking pots (one with lid)
1 - large frying pan
1 - Noodle strainer (screen type)
1 - 16 oz box of noodles

1) Place large cooking pot (w/lid) on stove.
2) Combine spaghetti sauce, salsa, oregano, red pepper and garlic powder into large pot.
3) Turn on lowest heat, cover. When boiling begins then stir appox every 5 - 10 minutes.
4) Place frying pan on stove, medium heat and brown the meat (beef or turkey)
5) Place noodle strainer in sink, pour browned meat into strainer to drain excess grease.
6) Add meat to spaghetti sauce.
7) Do not wipe frying pan, but return frying pan back on stove medium heat.
8) Turn to medium heat, add chopped green or yellow pepper.
9) Fry chopped pepper approx 10 minutes. then add to the spaghetti sauce .
10) Wipe frying pan with paper towel to remove grease.
11) Place frying pan back on stove medium heat, then add sweet butter and chopped onions and black pepper.
12) Fry aprox 10 minutes until onion edges are brown.
13) Remove frying pan from stove and add the sautéed onions to the spaghetti sauce mixture.
14) Finished with frying pan.
15) Add 4 quarts water to second large pot, place on stove high heat until boiling.
16) Add noodles and cook 10 minutes after return of boiling ( Stir every few minutes)
17) With noodle strainer in pour boiling noodles into strainer.
18) Rinse noodles with cold water to stop cooking cycle, allow excess water to drain approx 5 minutes
19) Add noodles to spaggitti sauce and cook an addition 30-40 minutes. Stirring every 5-10 minutes.
20 ) Remove from heat and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
21) Serve with bread, and cinnamon apple sauce or garden salad.

Unserved spaghetti can be refrigerated and reheated next day. If reheating in small pot on stove, add a little water to keep from burning to the pot. Stir and heat until hot enough to eat.
Or
Be lazy and just microwave.
